The University of Nigeria Nsukka as the first indigenous university founded in 1955 has since grown to become one of Nigeria’s leading institution. The university has completed a lot of projects and development to ensure that the standard of the university meets with the modern day technological development in research and development, security, and learning.
One of such moves is the establishment of the first University-based science park in Nigeria – The Lion Science Park. Lion Science Park aims to bridge the gap between private, public and institutional research institutes/ centers seeking to optimize their Research and Development activities. The park will also provide graduates with direct and unhindered access to a specialized innovative infrastructure of the highest standard exposing them to training opportunity for applied scientific innovation and entrepreneurial skills.
